Government and cities have become a reality, but lurking just outside the walls of the six cities is a twisted world of religious fanatics and renegade mutations.     The five outer cities where civilians attempt to pit themselves against nature and live comfortable lives behind high walls and big guns. Completely dependent on Central City for protection, the ruling bodies of the cities attempt to retain their independence and rights, but the ever-present threat of the GRF and the outside world keep wild thoughts of abandoning the military in check.

Wicked fauna and flora alike form monstrous habitats out of once peaceful ground, but the ever-present human threat lurks ever-present on civilization's mind.
