But what if it doesnt? She considered this thought as she waited the shadow's returns. They did have a point, when she has tried it before it didnt work..nothing came of the ritual, did she do it wrong? Idly she tapped the stick to her chin as she stood atop the rock over looking the forest..those times he was in a place she could not reach..what is the difference now? Well she was stronger, much stronger and her power reached far deeper than it ever has before..That would make a difference..

However..this Vylrath was an interesting one, and would possibly put a hold on her plan..he offered her something that included more power..but children...matting with him? her lips twisted in a bit of agitation, never in her life..ever has she given birth to children. Not even to her beloved, and they could have made spawn even more powerful than what her and Vylrath could make.

She would rather sacrifice her own children than have any at all..they werent worth anything, they betrayed you..disobeyed you..look at his little rats that he has already spawned, from the couple she has seen..the son, and the daughter..distasteful. She doesnt want any of those..but hers, well IF she did have any, they would be the evil of all evil..but would she want them to be more powerful than herself?

Hardly, and that was threatening..though in the end, if they proved to be a threat..she can always kill them.

This also presents a problem..if she were to do it, mate with purely the intention to create these spawns..what would happen if she did bring her lover to this world? how would he react...not as though they were exactly the honorable loyal bunch..but he has..before told her he wanted her to only have his children, or none at all..which is how she preferred it.

What a complication. If she accepted, she would have to grant spawn.

Dawn would shutter inwardly at the thought of children of her own..she would never nurture or mother them, that is far beyond her ability.

You have no idea how it would benefit you Dawn, these spawns...will be nothing but easy pawns for you. Your own blood, you could control them..destory them, use them..more power for you, you have so much at your feet and yet you do not see it.

Accept the offer, forget about the one you seek.

He is gone..you'll never be able to bring him back to your world, or this..or the next. We have made sure of it..

"I control you now." she said to them "you are trapped in there..you silly echoing useless sounds. You try so hard, dont think me a fool..you want to be free, dont you? but I wont allow it..you may be in there..but you have no idea what my plans are."

She grinned and slammed the stick into the rock causing it to shatter into pieces. "you have no idea."

she decided, she will do something different..she will summon someone else.

"Time to bring some more trouble to this world." The shadows would cautiously appear from behind the trees and make their way to stand behind her. they had gathered what she needed..mainly the one thing she needed.

The only thing she needed.

"Let the darkness descend." She turned to face them and held out her hands for the baby. It would be a premature infant stolen from the mothers womb, still covered in blood and juices with the umbilical cord still attached.

under developed, it didnt move, nor cry and it barely breathed. It would barely be able to take a breath once it was placed into her hands..without any remorse, any thought of guilt or regret she snapped the infants delicate neck.

"Maloe mpi tyk hurr hiic nag mput zpurrrrrl." Thick dark ancient language spoken in a monstrous tone as she drew her nail from the top of the baby's head, over its face down its neck and across its belly. Slicing its skin and peeling it back like the cover of a book, exposing its insides.

Dawns eyes would sparkle with a horrible desire as the grin on her face grew, the sensation of warm blood on her fingertips sent a shiver down her spine as she dug her long fingers between those tiny ribs and tore free the little beating heart. For a moment it pulsed in her hand as the last bit of muscle function subsided..

She squeezed popping it like a balloon..the blood oozing out onto the rock she stood on..staining the beautiful earth with bright red blood. "I summon you."

She dropped the heart and it melted into the stone, smoke rising toward the sky as it sizzled its imprint into the rock. Next she pulled its little intestines free and dangled them over the small bit of blood that started to pool at her feet.

"Come forth.."

She dropped the intestines and it coiled around the pooling blood..also burning its imprint into the rock. Her shadows withered with joy and excitement as the dark power rose and surrounded them, it expanded towards the sky and for these few instances ..it would darken the sun.

"By my will."

She withdrew from the childs body every little organ it had; the last she would remove would be its underdeveloped eyes..with just her fingernails she popped them out like olives.

"I command you!!! Come forth!"

She slammed them into the little puddle of blood, flames manifesting from that sudden impact of her hand hitting the rock; they crawled and bit at her warm..lastly, she would offer the childs body..all except a small token for herself..

She let the flames ingulf and burn the body into nothingness.

"Come forth!! Mygi!!"

Pure blackness would ripple through the trees as the power spread forth, shattering the very essence of the earth as she opened the door way and called forth another of their kind.

And then... the shadow would disperse and light would settle once more across the land.
