On the spiral shaped island that was formerly Kalmarden, a small village was sprouting forth from the remains of the surrounding settlements. After The End, there were those who swore their very lives to rebuilding what was lost, perhaps even better than before. Whether this was just purest optimism or some kind of payment for bad things done, everyone had their own reasons for standing up, grabbing a hammer and getting to work. One of the people among these workers was Stuart MacGregor. His personal reason (Though he didn't usually care to reveal it) was that he absolutely despised the decay and ruin that came with The End. That, and he had a skill that worked well with his occupation.
Having just sanded a large load-bearing pillar for a new two-story building, it was now time to install it. Rather than calling over a squad of other people to help him lift it, as most do in such a situation, he would instead stoop over it and place his hands upon it. The pillar, emitting a faint purple glow, would be picked up in one arm by Stuart and carried over to it's resting point. As it left MacGregor's hands, it would lose it's glow and sink into the ground on which it stood. The other workers just continue on as if nothing had happened. The monotony would be broken only by a falling wall, having been improperly supported. But otherwise, things continued as normal in the rebuilding village.
