-History-
Eijin was born the son of an Aerokinetic witch and a vampire noble on the island of Gil-Driel. Though a product of a brutal rape, Eijin was largely accepted by the village's people due to his mother's influence as a healer and shaman. She is largely responsible for his training in the use of Aerokinetics and teaching him of the curse his father left him with. Due to his hybrid human physiology, he has a far lessened need for blood than other vampires and can withstand sunlight for long periods, though it will eventually sicken him. Upon his mother's death, Eijin became a wanderer and assassin, utilizing his skills to kill without causing outward physical injury and to infiltrate locations deemed impregnable. However, when news spreads of a treaty being negotiated in Kalmarden that could change the state of the world and longing to find the father he's never known and avenge his mother's honor, he travels to Kalmarden.
Powers and attributes
Vampirism- Increased strength, speed, agility, and stamina. His muscle mass and physical size also increase a bit. Some telepathic properties allow him to speak and interpret nearly any language, sense energies, and resist mental assault. This is augmented by his mother's training.
Aerokinesis- Control over air currents. Eijin is able to create vacuums, fly, and form shapes such as walls and columns. This is a multi-faceted ability with many possibilities.
Martial Arts- Eijin has been trained for centuries in the Sora-SenRyu school of martial arts, which incorporates his aerokinesis and a pair of Zakabatou that Eijin carries. He is a master swordsman and hand to hand combatant.
Personality
Eijin is a careful and calculating individual, deeply concerned with finding the most effective course to reach his ends. He tends to come across as very aloof and is largely a loner. Once one is deemed worthy of friendship, however, there are few lengths that he won't go to to protect them. Incredibly observant and patient, Eijin takes most things quite seriously. He is not a casual killer but will kill without hesistation or remorse once the decision is made. His let-it-all hang out style of battle is something of a contradiction to his nature. Eijin enjoys a good challenge more than anything and seeks to improve his skills by fighting powerful adversaries and training every day.
