Mind Scan - Her own personal radar system. Espionage? Yeah right.
Mind Reader - It really isn't that great, knowing every thought passing through any brain within the immediate area.
Mind Rider - "Do you see what I see?" ...you have no idea.
Psychic Link - For when silence is golden, its best to have nonverbal communication with your team mate(s).
Nightmare - She really can be your worst nightmare. Note: under no circumstances make her your enemy.
Detonate - Your massive load of gunpowder has just become your worst enemy.

In short, she is a mind-reader with the ability to project illusions - compulsions, emotions, memories, visions, dreams - into her target's psyche, and is able to 'borrow' the target's senses on occasion. Her Psychic Link ability is very limited in that she must know the other person very well. The Detonate ability is a recently (and accidentally discovered) acquired skill that she is only a beginner in studying.

Tara's psychic abilities are nothing to shake a stick at, but they require intense concentration to pull off. There are only three that she is able to maintain constantly with little effort: Psychic Link, Mind Reader, and, to a lesser extent, Bogus!. It takes intense concentration and immense amounts of energy to force a mind to see what she wants it to see, or to change a memory (etc): and the amount of energy used is determined by how much she is attempting to do. Causing someone to feel a slight euphoria when already in a good mood is far easier than forcing a man in high spirits to a depression so deep he may commit suicide. It is rare for her to use her abilities, and even rarer for her to use the more effective ones. While she can passively hear others' thoughts, she tends to shut them out, and only read mind patterns as a last resort.

Appearance//
Tara is a tad on the short side, slender but not fragile. Once she had a full head of perfect hair in natural streaks of every shade of warm brown and gold imaginable; but ever since the onset of her Syker abilities (around-about thirteen or so) she has been completely bald, and doesn't mind in the least. Her skin is a creamy reddish-tan color; she has bright blue eyes and is decently well-endowed in the womanly features department. Her head is traced in thin tribalesque designs in a blue color very close to her eye color, which glow almost florescently when her Syker abilities are in intense use. She tends to wear simple clothing reminiscent of the Victorian era, most of which is nearly in tatters anyway.

Personality//
Tara is not a huge advocate for being the center of attention - normally. It may have something to do with the lack of hair and weird blue markings and slightly darker complexion than is the fashion, it may be that she just hates the limelight. Either way, she will often resort to sweet-talking any man with the power to get her what she wants, and she isn't shy about playing it up until she gets the answer she's after.

While gifted with so many abilities to destroy a mind, Tara is rooted in the firm belief that a man's mind is his last sanctuary, and should not be violated except at the utmost end of need. It is this philosophy that has shaped her strict and limited usage of her own abilities - yet at the same time she does not abstain from them entirely. They say that Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned - but this phrase ought to be rewritten: "woman" should read "Tara". She is not above reducing a man to a crying nutjob out of scorn.

Tara has invested a large amount of time researching more traditional means of manipulating the senses: she has turned into quite the herbalist, enjoying creating lethal poisons and useful ointments, revitalizers, energizers - even a hair creme.

History//
She remembers nothing of her life before coming to the government's Academy, likely because of her memories being erased. She maintained one of the upper ranks throughout the Academy, and graduated at seventeen with many honors, ranked fourth in her class. She was accepted into the Phantom Brigade, where she was a mid-ranked Psionic, using her abilities at the Lieutenants' discretion - though she did not agree with it sometimes, she really had no choice.
