History:
Born Persephone Magdalena, to Appolonia Magdalena (it is unknown who, if any, the father was) on the same eve as Carthares. Persephone, unlike Carthares, was raised under the teachings of the Path; of how each Ingram male bears the burden of the Raccolta while each Magdalena female bears the Radura, which means "to clear or cleanse," what her duties are as the Magdalena, the Law and Purpose of the Void, and is instructed to prepare for the day she will meet her polar-opposite on their respective 21st birthdays. Since Persephone was thirteen (13) she has had recurring dreams of Carthares, and—once more unlike Carthares—has been anxiously awaiting the day she will serve her Ingram male.

Then the day came, and in the midst of a terrible storm Persephone found Carthares. He was on the brink of his transformation into the Void, like every preceding Ingram male on the eve of their 21st year, to which she cleansed him and brought him back from the Void. From that day forth Persephone has fulfilled her duties as the Magdalena, and taught Carthares everything she was taught of the Path, and his purpose within it. She has not told him of the prophecy that befalls all Ingram males; on the eve of their 41st birthday they fully embody the Void and proceed to cause destruction and decimation on a planet wide-scale. The Magdalena is destined to slay the Void and banish it.

Persephone has been taught extensively in the ways of the Path, her abilities as the Magdalena, and anything else Appolonia may have taught her. Much like Carthares, Persephone absorbs latent energy in the environment around her (good or light, neutral, and evil or dark). Due to this Persephone is able to perform a variety of feats; augmentation of physical attributes, the creation and manifestation of weapons made of both light and dark energy (or a combination of the two), the ability to banish evil, a method of purification or cleansing to an individual or environment (something she performs avidly on Carthares), and heal the negative effects of the Raccolta on Carthares to name a few.

Persephone, alongside Carthares, travel the land under the aliases "Cora" and "Nomad" respectively, banishing demons and darklings alike, and consuming any evil in their path. Carthares has become the itinerant purifier of the lands, while Persephone assists him in battle, and cleanses him afterward.
