Demeanor — Ylaina is the idea Dirige specialist. Mistrusted by her fellow Reapers and regarded as the most murderous creature to set foot upon the earth, Ylaina is an ultraviolent former "Soul Thief" employed by the Reapers. Excepting a very select few, talking to her is an exercise in taking one's life into one's own hands; she can easily be set off into a murderous fit by the wrong brand of comment. Even when not in an ultraviolent fit, however, Ylaina can be very difficult to get along with; she is extremely domineering and aggressive, outright refusing to be outdone or lower than another person in any way, or accept anyone else--other than a very select few--as her equal. There are even fewer that she will accept as her superior. Ylaina is extremely judgmental of others (again, excepting a very select few), and is especially critical of her fellow Reapers when in the presence of any amount of mercy.
It's not that she has no compassion at all, however--rather, it's that she does her job very well, and enjoys every second of it. Ylaina can be compassionate, but it's such a scarce event that none ever depend on it happening.

Special abilities — Ylaina can generate electricity even in the spirit world of Purgatory. Although she is employed as a combat specialist by the Reapers, Ylaina is incapable of wielding spiritual powers beyond simply transitioning between the dead world and the living world.
Fighting style — Wild, barbaric, and absolutely ruthless, Ylaina has no set style beyond the utmost efficiency in needless bloodshed. She is privy to excessively large explosions to kill as many targets as possible and exercises in slaughter that put some warlords to shame. Though she never consciously kills anything that isn't particularly affiliated with her set target at the time, it's not unheard of for innocents to die if they're in the vicinity of Ylaina's outbursts. For this reason alone, she is only sent on missions that require the absolute maximum amount of destruction.
Weapon of Choice — Her bare hands, usually. If she ever needs to summon electrical currents with much tenacity, Ylaina can wield a very particular violin; the music she plays on this lends to the destructive power of her lightning, but unfortunately leaves her quite undefended when she must resort to this.
