Demeanor: Yasuo is a momentously respectful young Cizokian man. He is quick to act upon injustice, be it for a friend or someone he knows nothing about, and as a former samurai apprentice, follows the bushido code very closely. Yasuo thus acts primarily for the greater good of his master--who, in this case, is Death himself. As time goes on, he will adjust to Death's particular moral code, and allow it to guide his actions. Nonetheless, he is extremely soft-spoken, and although sometimes a bit absentminded, often tries to maintain a level head in tough situations, and makes an honest effort to remain lighthearted in the best interests of his fellows.

Special abilities: Just as all Reapers do, Yasuo has a particular specialty with Seele Übertritt--the ability to pass and manipulate spiritual energy. He can do all the basics, passing souls and the ilk, but unlike most Reapers, he cannot use spirit for the sake of long range "blasts." All of his attempts thus far have presented needlessly weak results, all failures. His technique is much more specialized. Rather than throwing spiritual energy around and wielding it as some sort of ranged power, he can focus raw spiritual energy into individual shapes, creating any range of weapons he requires at his disposal, from swords to a bow and arrows. Spirit can also serve as a means of temporarily enhancing his own abilities, the effects of which sometimes change depending on the situation and his emotional/mental state.
Fighting style: Prior to the end of Yasuo's life, his master taught him to wield a wide range of weapons. Yasuo's specialties are a single nodachi or katana, twin wakizashi, and longbows. He has a particular tactical preference for each--a nodachi entailing a very traditional heaven-and-earth stance, a katana entailing a very aggressive set of counter-attacks and defense maneuvers, twin wakizashi entailing a full-out offense with very little concern for defensive strategies, and a long-bow entailing consistent long range attacks and uses of any means to slow his enemy(ies) down.
