Appearance: Tall, lithe, and beautiful, yet utterly frightening to behold in person: Shem has an unearthly air that seems to invoke an intense and unameable dread in the hearts of many who see her for the first time. This is due in most part to the curse of her race, but her exotic and powerful bearing only adds to effect. She has the piercing yellow eyes of a bird of prey, and indeed it isn’t hard to imagine her sizing you up as a potential meal when she looks at you intensely. Her long, grey hair is worn in well kempt dreadlocks that are pulled away from her swarthy face. She has several ear-piercings as well as a simple gold hoop that adorns her right nostril. Shem smells constantly of temple incense and good sex.

9. Defects: She was born with an intricate blue tattoo that covers her entire body, forever marking her as a child of profane origins: one of the Nephilim.

10. Heredity: Shem was born of an unholy union between a fallen Grigori and a mortal prostitute. She was named after her father-mother in his honor so that he would not be forgotten.

2. Occupation: Madame of “Shem’s International House of Sin”, a prominent brothel in Xexoria

3. Education: She was schooled in business and the art of pleasure by her mother and the other brothel residents, and is self-educated in everything else that she knows. All things considered she’s rather intelligent, but in no way a genius.

4. Home Life: Her father-mother wasn’t present in her life at all, but her mother always spoke of him highly. Shem’s mother, Xolani, was the real guiding force behind Shem’s upbringing. She was the one that taught her nearly everything she knows about the business, and quite well, because her daughter eventually came to own the brothel where they both served.

5. Race: Nephilim

6. Religion and/or Nationality: Athiest/Hedonist. She is of no other discernible nationality (though she’s most likely of Xexorian lineage.)

7. Place in Community: Disrespected by those outside her circle of influence. (I.E. those who do not frequent the brothel for “company”)

8. Political affiliations: Whoever keeps the money in her pocket and the “Children” safely under her wing.

9. Amusements/Hobbies: Besides the obvious lust for sexual exploration. Shem is an avid collector of archaic and expensive occultist books.

PSYCHOLOGY
1. Moral Standards: Not many to speak of, though she is always true to her business dealings.

2. Personal Premise/Ambition: Shem’s goal in life is all about obtaining the ultimate in pleasure, regardless of the many forms that it comes in.

3. Frustrations: People who owe her money and are slow to pay, those trying to take away what she has worked hard to earn by herself, Over-zealous prudes.

4. Temperament: Shem is generally laid back and slow to anger, but once enraged she will stop at nothing to wreak havoc upon the lives of those that upset her. One thing she doesn’t tolerate, however, is treacherous behavior.

5. Attitude toward Life: “Life is to be enjoyed and every pleasure and pain it has to offer should be sampled at least once.”

6. Complexes: Though she was the outcome of a mixed Aetheric and Mortal birth she vehemently denies that such things as her father-mother even exist. A strong case of Nymphomania should also be mentioned.

7. Extrovert? Introvert? Ambivert? Ambivert. While she’s a planner by nature and a woman of few words, if Shem has something to say you bet your ass she’ll let it be known to the world.

8. Abilities: Shem can speak over 7 different languages (most of them being dead or forgotten) and can dance exquisitely. She is an expert in the art of sensual pleasure after having many years of practice as a brothel-girl. Due to her lineage Shem has inhuman strength, is invulnerable to most disease, and doesn’t to age as fast as humans do. Her genetics also gives her a much faster healing rate when she’s attacked by a non-magical weapons, and a capacity to become an adept at magick (though she hasn’t put any effort in that endeavor due to her fervent atheism.)

9. Qualities: While Shem is strong she isn’t one for confrontation, yet she makes sure that she will be well protected under the worst of circumstances. Every single one of her “Brothel Children” are completely loyal, well trained fighters that are armed to the teeth in case they or the brothel itself were to come under attack from outside forces.
