His first attempt of taking this from Tsukimono ended in failure, with Tsukimono and his partner Etsu Hikane nearly killing Toushikyo, before Kyla and Hugh interrupted them and saved Toushikyo's life. Toushikyo's second attempt at fighting Tsukimono again ended in failure, during which he suffered numerous injuries. Gestahl, Toushikyo's surrogate father, took charge upon rescuing Toushikyo, by kidnapping Hikane and issuing Tsukimono a deal to trade the scythe for Hikane's life. Toushikyo stood on the sidelines of Gestahl's inevitable meeting with Tsukimono, and watched his surrogate father fall by Tsukimono's hand. As he departed, he quietly vowed to kill Eldridge Tsukimono . . .

Special abilities: Toushikyo possesses an uncanny ability to temporarily freeze anything that touches him. This is particularly lethal towards living creatures, whom are easily frostbitten and susceptible to hypothermia. It is possible to freeze to death by being in his vicinity for too long. Toushikyo is likewise capable of surviving in any cold weather circumstance, with no risk to his health, or reduction in his physical quality of life. He is not limited to just this, however. Just as he freezes everything he touches, Toushikyo can control and manipulate ice to any form and function he sees fit.
