Demeanor: Taesla is best described as stoically hateful, expressing much more desire to harm someone than to hug someone. She's generally humorless (and not for a lack of understanding jokes, either) and expresses herself bluntly, whether it offends mixed company or not. Taesla is a utilitarian minded person, on which all potential relationships are founded--a useful person that meshes with her well will inevitably be seen as a comrade, given time, but generally limited to that: comrade. With a utilitarian perspective, Taesla intentionally disconnects and disassociates herself with close interpersonal relationships.
Despite that, though, Taesla will take it harshly if she were to permanently lose a comrade for whatever reason, be it death or social unrest.
Although she doesn't usually vent it, Taesla is extremely racist. It's not so much that she sees elves as a superior race, either; Taesla simply dislikes people of other racial backgrounds, and often treats them roughly--at least at first. Taesla can become attached to a member of another race, but it takes some time . . .

Special abilities: Balanced between magic and physical combat. She can wield elemental powers up to mid-tier levels, but has fairly high tier support spells: boosts of stamina, strength, speed, and all the like. She cannot use healing spells, however, but is a great field medic to make up for this.
Fighting style: Taesla is extremely aggressive in battle, when alone or with others supporting her as the lead in combat. She'll charge headlong into hordes of enemies, for example, by way of flame and blade. However, when she is the one supporting another, Taesla is almost the exact opposite. She'll wholly use support spells, and exclusively use a pistol or other ranged weapon for distance combat, to avoid getting in the way of the aggressor amongst her group.
Weapon of Choice: Pole-arms of all shapes and sizes; pikes, halberds, naginatas, anything of the sort. Taesla is also fond of short swords and revolvers. She almost always has one of each type of weapon on her person at all times.
