“The Angel of Lucidity: Edric, King of The Rift hereby invites every interested creature to attend a once in a lifetime event. A celebration of life in all its glory and grandeur for one evening only. Each guest will be honored and provided with delicacies, entertainment, and excitement fit for royalty. Upon receiving the invitation, the only RSVP required is desire. Each beloved guest will know the directions in their heart afterwards. Though it is not required it is suggested each guest bring a small gift for a young girl, reasons for this will be revealed upon arrival.”


You all have been invited to party in The Rift by the King himself! ICly, if your character expresses interest in going after reading the invitation, or so much as takes a second glance at it, he or she will be drawn there. How you end up on Persistencia is up to you, as stated in the opening post some of Edric’s subjects have ferries to get there, which would probably be more comfortable than tossing yourself into the ocean and hoping for the best. Everyone is allowed a maximum of 2 characters to attend. Also, I’m going to ask that if you join, make sure you’re fairly active so as not to hold the event back. I dislike skipping turns, but I’ll do what I have to to keep things rolling.

More information about the Gala is to come with the official party opening post. For now think of which character’s you would like to have attend and maybe even post how they found their invitation or how they’re going to get to the island. Also think about what sort of little girl’s gift you’d bring for mysterious reasons.

I'll give everyone a little longer to establish their character in the welcoming thread before i shuffle everyone into the palace. Don't feel rushed though, you can always introduce your character later. My next post will come tomorrow morning after my class.

Sorry if i haven't been responding to each and every character introduced. I will try to get to everyone if i can!
