Trying to break up the action into other parts of the castle. Right now Eroina is getting gifts in the throne room, Edric is munching on things in the banquet hall and anyone is welcome to come bother him, and there is a moleman in one of the servants bedrooms.

Other than that if you find yourself with nothing to do or no one to interact with, try having a character explore the castle, i guarantee there is a lot to find.
