I am creating another faction in the Unseelie/ Seelie conflict by introducing a county ruled by fanatical Fey hunters into the mix. While they may not seem like much of a threat at first, I want them to steadily gain ground by turning the humans on the Fey. I personally think it'll add another facet to the story that will make for great additions. I'm making their leader a Lich, a mage so steeped in necromancy he's become undead himself and requires fresh lifeforces to survive (unbeknownst to his people of course). Feel free to come to me with any questions.

I don't understand current conflicts we are having. The Rp has not changed since we started and we personally like surprise Rp. Not everything is discussed in an Rp and when it is, it is consented.

I was under the impression that this Rp has been fine and dandy for everyone, but apparently some have questions about the RP ethics.

My character has not and will not falter from his personality, or powers that he has had for a long time now. There is no reason to tone him down, or change what he is. I have not abused any of his powers in the RP. His weaknesses are displayed in the Rp.

Rp is meant for enjoyment and surprises now and then. Not everything will be discussed. If someone has a serious issue with the Rp, then they need to contact Jen, or simply leave the RP.

I have tried to bend over backwards and I'm hitting a brick wall.

I am not the admin, therefore, I don't have authority to say what is what. I just run my ideas by and get approval. I have actually had some knocked down, so no one is favored.

I think you are just upset, because you aren't allowed your chronomancy character. Controlling time is very OP and King Pendaran only manipulates, or throws glamour- he doesn't control time even. What gives?

This stemmed from a simple conversation about Rp plots.

I voiced issues that I felt needed be addressed. I felt that some chars were definitely pushing the boundary of OP with their powers as well as a description by yours truly of one being ' pretty much godly'. My concerns WERE in fact discussed, in some length, I might add, with Jen.

I think perhaps you have some issue with a char you have such a personal stake in being scrutinized. Your Vylrath is not the only char here with history nor should his history allow him to tread upon rules set forth at the creation of the site. If I see an issue, I will not hesitate to question, regardless of your or anyone else's feelings. I respect all the creative minds here enough to feel free in being honest and stating what I see to be right. If you do not agree with me, that's fine. Do as you will.
Obviously whatever issues I had were not enough to get me to leave. Do not think to tell me what my motivations are. I think for myself, thank you.

If you're rping to please everyone, then you're in this for all the wrong reasons. This is storytelling, no? The telling of the story is then paramount, not what anyone thinks of it. That is for the audience to decide, whether or not they are satisfied with your efforts. Something you have no real control over whatsoever.

I'm not being aggressive in this, merely clarifying my stance for those who seem to have labeled me some sort of firebrand. I'm not going anywhere and if someone is going to pull some crap and call gold, I'll certainly call it as I see it.

Btw, I definitely messaged Jen over the chronomancy BEFORE introducing Slyail, stating that it was a largely inert power and one he'd have to learn to control. Even introduced a definitive limit to its use and some very ill effects to it. And it has never been applied...the idea was more or less abandoned.

I play more than one character, not just Vylrath. If he was OP in anything, I'm sure that Alex and the other Admin would have alerted me.

I'm sorry that they didn't want to do your plot. No reason to take it out on my character- I have Rped him the same as always.

The godly comment was in comparison to your Slyail just suddenly attacking him. It was in jest and in humor- but you decided to take ONE comment seriously. I'd move on from it.

Jen has seen the Emails shared between us. You should have only addressed the concerns with her. I couldn't have done anything anyway. She is the GM of this Rp.

Furthermore, I never said he was the ONLY one with history.

Ryuku and others have history as well and they have been introduced in the plot.

They were discussed with Jen.

I'm sorry that you can't handle the fact that everything was Rped out with Vyl. Everything- including the sword, including him becoming Vuri.

Op would mean that he was not Rped out with the Vuri race and I just said BAM let's make him Vuri.

Vuri have weaknesses, which have been shown in the RP. From your recent post, you obviously don't read thoroughly enough to see that.

I have asked Alex personally if Vylrath has displayed being OP and I would certainly correct it if he was.

Jen didn't want the Fey Hunters in the plot for various reasons. Just suddenly having Fey hunters, is a little awkward. I find it insulting that you don't think there is a threat, when we have been fighting your subplot, that has been going on for weeks now.

Alex is in another thread with the bad guy. If you want to confront him and feel "threatened' then take Slyail there yourself.

I however, am respecting other people's threads and not just OPing myself there because I want it done faster. I actually like story telling that makes sense.
