Kurohara-ryū kenjutsu: After having produced a number of prolific samurai and duelists in the past, the Kurohara clan had begun encouraging the sharing and invention of new sword techniques, theories, and meditative practices. The end result of this campaign was the formation of the Kurohara-ryū kenjutsu--or the Kurohara school of Swordsmanship. The school is one of inheritance and is taught only to those of the bloodline, and is made up of several sub-styles that, while sharing a similar base, vary in focus and emphasis, and other such subtleties
¬Kuroi-iro kokoro no Kata: Yuudai’s preferred style. The kuroi-iro kokoro no kata splits its focus between traditional sword techniques and supplemental Qi manipulation, of both internal and external varieties.
