Ozrik’s smile never left his face. He wanted Aria to remember him like this. Warm and smiling, happy to be with her. Alive. He felt that as long as she kept his smiling face with her, he would live forever. That really didn’t matter to him much; eternal life. But eternal life with Aria would be a perfect way to exist. The more time he spent with this girl, the more he loved her. The way her soft skin was always in contact with his kept him in a constant blush and filled his head with happy daydreams. Ozrik held her close to him every chance he was given, feeling the most content when he felt her warmth.

“A bed?” he repeated, a little taken back by the question. It had gotten late, surely, but he didn’t expect her to be so open to the idea of staying with him. “A bed.” He repeated once more.

Ozrik didn’t even own one bed, let alone an extra. He thought about this for a long time before silently shooting up and making a quick dash to his couches. He flung off the cushions and let them all drop to the floor. He did this with both couches until they were stripped bare. Once the floor was littered with cushion, he pushed them all together between the two couches, moving the coffee table to the side in the process. Soon the space between the couches was filled with comfort, and the sturdy furniture kept them from separating.

“There we go!” he announced with pride. “Some extra pillows and a blanket and this’ll make a fine bed!”

Ozrik had concluded, accurately, that Aria wished to stay the night with him. Perhaps she had been a little direct! But still-- it was an innocent want, on her end. She really had no intentions of sharing a bed with him or anything! After all, he was supposed to come back. That sort of stuff could be sorted out and thought about later, but not now. Today was the first day the kissed and stayed as close as they could, and doing more than that would certainly be rushing things by Aria's standards!

She simply wanted to see him off in the morning, and she didn't quite like to leave her door unlocked, and it wasn't like Ozrik could do anything to wake her up from outside of her house.

Aria couldn't help but let out a soft giggle at Ozrik's frantic motions to make a bed for her. It was a makeshift bed, clearly, but it was functional! And would certainly fit her wants of comfort, at the very least. She also couldn't help but wonder where Ozrik planned to sleep, now that there were no cushions on the couches. Perhaps he had a bed elsewhere? He hadn't explicitly stated that he lacked a bed or anything.

"Then . . . I may sleep there tonight?" Aria asked for confirmation. It was only polite.

That wasn’t necessarily the reaction he was hoping for as he held his arms out to show off his handiwork. He was at least hoping for a thank you or something with a little more enthusiasm. He continued to hold his arms out for a second, wondering what to say next. Surely she didn’t think he tore apart his furniture just for the sake of silliness. That would make him insane, and Ozrik certainly wasn’t that. Unless…that’s what Aria saw in him. Suddenly he became very self conscious.

Still he smiled, holding his arms out, though not as enthusiastically as before. “Of course Aria! This can be your bed!” he nodded, and then quickly moved to a small closet in an unassuming corner of his room. He returned with armfuls of pillows and blankets, all for Aria. Ozrik had no problem finding a comfortable spot on the floor or on the cushion-less couches; in fact he really didn’t feel like he had to sleep at all.

Aria smiled at this. Well, that was the whole reason she had asked if he had an extra bed, so she could possibly stay with him tonight! She just had to make sure he wasn't just being silly, that was all. It was a matter of being rude or not, and Aria certainly never wanted to be rude to Ozrik.

"Thank you, Ahsrich," she replied at last, smiling.

She stood up and started towards the area of this makeshift bed, where Ozrik had cushions between two now cushion-less couches, keeping the cushions in place like a real bed. It was kind of silly, as she thought about it, but that was fine. It was probably going to be very comfortable. Perhaps as comfortable as it was silly. Aria stopped and stood next to Ozrik. Briefly, she looked around, searching for a bed, or a hallway to a bedroom or anything like that. Finally, she looked up to him, curious.

"Where will you sleep?"
