Demeanor: Uncontrollably feral and violent; Nyx has had no major (positive) influences in developing its psyche, though it has situated on a human-ish form, and even seems to prefer a more feminine appearance than masculine. It is curious by nature and always investigates any odd movement or sound that might gain its notice; it is also gluttonous and almost constantly seeking out its next meal. Shows signs of (possibly dormant) intelligence; it recognizes potential harm to itself and instead scavenges for food by following larger, more powerful beings.

Shadow manipulation: Naturally capable of manipulating shadows and moving through them.

Liquid form: When attacked or in danger of being attacked, Nyx is able to change its body into a liquid-like form, allowing the shadeling a wider range of flexibility, the ability to regenerate from otherwise fatal wounds, or to escape from risky situations. Nyx does not posses any supernatural control over water or the like.

Soul devouring: Nyx is plagued by an emotional need to feed on life and can do so by remote, though the process is far faster when it is physically touching its meal. Devouring life allows Nyx to convert the energy into excess body-mass.
